one day!

dear bloggie,
i'm sorry i have been such a bitch to you and left you all cold and lonely by yourself.
you must have hated me all this time.
nevertheless, i need to let you know this!
i'm still very in love with you and i'm not going to let you go again!
okay, this is what FPA (and the people i've been hanging out with) has (have) done to me.
anyway! hello potatoes! how's life yo? are you better? :D
so i've finally found it in me to blog again as i wanted to talk about the movie i've just watched!

warning: there may be spoilers ahead.
okay, the movie was not as good as i had hoped for it to be cos the first few years of the movie were a little draggy and contain few significant events, like i felt that there could be better and more crucial events than those that were being shown. but towards the end the pace picked up and i got really absorbed in the movie. so despite the poor ratings and ignoring the slight disappointment i had felt initially, i love this movie nevertheless because Anne Hathaway is the female lead here she's soooooooooo prettayyy (reason why i wanted to watch this movie in the first place)!! and plus the male lead, Jim Sturgess is pretty cute too, esp at the later years! and more importantly, it's a bitterly sweet romance so i was kinda charmed by it (it reminds me of Where Rainbow Ends by Cecelia Ahern).
and i cried like nobody's business please! )':
even when the credit roll was shown, i was still slightly sobbing and trying to regain my composure from all the crying. and when liang saw the state that i was in, she gave me an exasperated look.
but people feel sad for the turnout of the movie mah! and moreover i had not expected a sad ending too. ):
even though the changes in the movie were subtle, like there weren't a lot of climaxes, somehow i could still feel the movie and empathise with the characters. it felt as though i have witnessed my two close friends being separated from each other forever like that! ):
and i got pretty emotional upon realising that their separation is permanent. ):
5 minutes after the movie ended i still felt like crying. that was how affected i was.
am considering if i should read the book now that i've watched the movie but decided to wait a bit long ago. i need to internalise what i've watched first.
and btw, i suddenly feel like having a movie marathon of novel-based movies eg dear john, the notebook and yes! a walk to remember... but like usual, i'll probably never get around to watching them. =/
