firstly,

I'M NEVER GONNA DRINK SO MUCH AGAIN!

okay, actually i didn't drink a lot. it's just that the alcohol was too strong for me. went to meet up with the impromptu gang at botak jones in bedok after accompanying joelin to SIM for her audition to join the singing club yesterday evening. food there was alright, with the cheese baked potato as the only commendable dish we feel.

went over to kok kiong's house after that and the guys really bought a lot of drinks this time round. they are seriously becoming a cult i tell you, brainwashing people to join them and then kidnapping them to kk's house (and in a van too!).

played circle of death with drinking Bailey's with chocolate mint as punishment and i must say the flavour doesn't taste as good as the one with Irish cream seriously. but i felt it was alright nonetheless. at least better the third one i tried. for this one i probably had 4 or 5 shots? liang was the really suay one at this game.

played dai dee after that where i drank the other one that tasted a bit carbonated. starts with a 'B' but i couldn't remember the name. i only remember it being really tall though. that one was not bad, with 40% alcohol content but i only drank less than 3 shots of it.

the killer came when we had Absolut Vodka Ruby Red for the game of bluff.

now that's a pretty name for the drink but names can be deceiving.

the drink was horrible.

it was bitter and really spicy. the fumes were enough to sting my eyes even though it was a 40% like the previous one.

i was really lousy at the game so i had to drink like maybe 4 or 5 shots of it.

thereafter we ended the game and i went to use kk's computer. until suddenly my heart started beating like really fast and i was feeling really giddy. so i started walking to the toilet as i was afraid i might vomit or something but halfway through the kitchen i started feeling weak and couldn't walk at all.

so i squatted down.

drank some water that ly brought for me and then i felt better after resting my head and going to the toilet but still a lil light-headed now and then.

boy, it felt awful. i'm never gonna let this happen again.

ONCE IS ENOUGH.

shockingly, nigel was really nice about it and even came forward to ask if i was alright. didn't know he has that side sia. the others were shocked when i told them about it too. guess we underestimated him.

went home at 2 plus in the morning again. and even when i was on the bed i didn't really settle into sleep until 3 plus. this is weird. i mean, alcohol is supposed to make you sleep better right?

ahh but whatever.

next, met up with liang, maeve and nana for lunch today at pastamania @ TM. it was to catch up with them after so long! erm, since chalet?

went to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes after that and now i'm convinced that i REALLY don't like Sci-Fi movies very much. unless i'm really sure they will turn out nice. i don't even get how it was able to obtain a 3.5 rating. okay maybe it's not that bad. the movie does somewhat bring across a message about animal cruelty. but like most sci-fi movies, this one has a rather lame ending. okay i have to admit that i did get emotional at some points, but not to the extent that tears came out. at the start the movie was still enjoyable but as the plot went on it was just plain hilarious, even though there was really nothing funny happening in the movie. it was just the planning that was a joke.
