received the math notes first thing when lecture started and to our surprise, AND delight, whatever we received contains all we need to know before the exams next year! weeeeeeeee~
the thickness of my math notes is probably only like one-eighth of my IBM lecture notes?
muahahaha! daebak!
but then again math 1 is only half a unit. i've still got stat 1. -.-
anyway, math lecture today felt like i've time travelled back to primary school and secondary school today. look at what i learnt today:
the photos were taken during lecture break don't worry. -.-that's like the very first few chapters i learnt in sec 1 i believe.
the most difficult part of today's lecture is probably learning to find the interception points of two quadratic curves hahaha! and i was like so proud of myself for being able to follow lecture and in fact worked out the solutions faster than the lecturer.
nah i'm not gloating. it was a good refresher for those of us who have been out of touch with school and numbers for such a long time.
hopefully math will continue to have it easy for us? (:
oh and my lecturer is another funny man!
now and then laughter will burst out during the lecture because of his silly comments hahaha! if the caucasian lecturer in my prep math lecture was funny, this guy is even funnier!

he was saying how at university we don't call fractions anymore, that the term 'fractions' is for primary school kids. in uni, we call fractions 'rational numbers'.
and why must we call them rational numbers?
"To confuse the primary school kids."
hahaha lame right??? okay pardon me, i know my 笑点很低。:P
i can forsee myself enjoying math lectures, unlike before. hopefully this thought will last and keep me satisfied for the next few months.
and all my lecturers so far (except probably econs and stats which i've yet to met him) seemed really nice and approachable! and funny! thankful much! (:
school life looks good for now. (:
