was watching this korean movie titled 'my mini black dress'. it's a movie which depicts the friendships, jealousies, hopes and failures of four 24-year-old girls after their graduation from college.

to be frank, this movie would not have caught my eye if Yoon Eun Hye was not acting in it haha! the actress is more famously known for her previous lead roles in Goong and The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. i don't know why but i really like her style of acting. in fact i'm currently catching another drama series, 'Lie to me' which is also starring her as the female lead.

anyway, don't start calling me a bimbo because the chick flick wasn't totally a chick flick after all. the movie depicted the worries of this 4 girls, especially that of Lee Yoo Min (acted by YEH), an aimless lazy bum who has no dream even though she does have a bit of talent in writing. there was even a point of time when i cried watching the movie cos the scene was really saddening. then again, i'm not really a good gage because i'm extremely emotional and i cry like super easily.

so why was i watching a chick flick to begin with?

to celebrate the end of today! :D

went to ICA in the afternoon because i had to renew my passport asap in order for my cousin to book the tickets to Melacca in September. the short getaway was meant to be for this July but unfortunately, July was fully booked. (don't understand why, it isn't even school holidays!)

anyway, it was really fast. 30 minutes and i was out of the building. (polyclinics should be efficient like this too!) i'm uber glad that it was a quick process because i really didn't like the environment of ICA, dunno why. the idea of going to the building scared me initially. i was supposed to go in the morning but i kept procrastinating until 'i have to do it' moment came. took my passport photo at the booth because the one i brought didn't make the cut (reason being my hair was covering part of my eyebrow rahh!). knew the photo would be uber toot so when the person asked me to take a look i just merely glanced and said okay. went to the room opposite to have the person help me do the application online. i guess technology really helps to quicken things up. oh yes, 76 bucks flew away for the application and the photograph. was ranting together with mingli jie about how ex the fee is. wae so expensive?! is the passport made of uber good material or what?

nevertheless, i'm glad that the passport will be ready for collection in 1 week's time. am so worried that the remaining dates would be taken up by other people too. my cousin has decided that we should go in september because august is the 7th lunar month. =/

on a happier, happier, note, chalet with 2e2 peeps (and 1 2e3 crasher -.-) starts tomorrow and i am much, much, excited! like a kiddo.

i'm sure it will be 3 good days of fun and joy. (and 3 good days away from Max, my darling laptop cos i'm staying overnight. =/) and i'm definitely, definitely, looking forward to it. (:
