long day (part two)

went to meet up with liang and pinyi at tampines subsequently after the lunch gathering at FN to find prissy a present! (and a pair of shoes for myself cos mine was like spoiling!)
bought prissy a pair of brown shoes! thankfully she likes it. and also a pair of shoes for myself from mitju (again!) but i ended up with aches towards the end cos of the long walk and cos it's a pair of peep-toe wedges.
went to meet derek and sze hwei on the train (and subsequently kokkiong) then to go promenade together to meet up with prissy's poly friends for priscilla's birthday celebration at MBS-changed-to-Singapore-River-by-the-esplanade. guess she was surprised by our clique's presence when she saw us. sang her a birthday song and she blew the candles over and over again just to get a picture-perfect shot cos the wind kept blowing out the candles!
on the way to the esplanade! first time so up front to MBS!fabian finally reached and it was nice to see him again after sooooo long! he has been missing out on our class gatherings due to NS. busy guy! kk also got NS but he has managed to find the time to attend gatherings please. but fabian said he was in a different unit which got tests and need to study a lot. something like that.
went to suntec city's pastamania for dinner cos the birthday girl was craving for that (she's forever craving for that!) and the celebration then ended. kinda awkward but the photo moments made up for everything.
chill lax with the remaining clique then while prissy, her bf and her poly friends went separate ways. we wanted to go MBS to explore but people like pinyi and kk refused cos they were too tired so we didn't. ):
anyway, the guys couldn't decide on where to go and what to do so we really ended up just wandering aimlessly and walking around city hall in rounds cos some of us JUST don't want to go home! the night is still young~
decided to stop by the river for a while due to fabian's awesome idea of sight-seeing -.- but anyway me and liang just can't care less cos we really want to rest our feet. moved on to starbucks later to sit down and chill but when we reached citylink's starbucks, it turned out that no one wanted to buy starbucks at all! and so we left the place no longer than 5 minutes after we settled down. cos anyway most of us became drained from all the walking from place to place due to the repeated changing of venues as to where to go to chill and slack.nevertheless, it was a really good night. it was always fun and laughters with the guys. i really laughed so hard tonight. to the extent that it seemed like i was drunk at some point of time when i didn't even touch any alcohol! liang and i were like all dingy and insane throughout HAHAHA! she must have spread some of her insanity to me last night via the crazy msn conversation!
i still find it unbelievable and ridiculous sometimes that i know most of them for half of my life and more already! eg people like pinyi, fabian and jian khai! since i've known them like since p3, p4. it's kinda embarrassing when you think about because we've all seen each others' worst and ugliest times (esp during pri sch) before and such memories are always useful for teasings and revenge in future ya? =/
but more than that, i feel really blessed because you know these are the reliable bunch of people. me and liang kept joking tonight about how we and the guys are 不熟 and have no 交情 but we know deep inside that it is not true. after all, 大家都是老朋友了。haha! but truthfully speaking, if most of us (me, liang, pinyi, derek, fabian, jiankhai, nigel) didn't go on to the same secondary school together (and furthermore same class again!) by coincidence/fate, i doubt we would all still be in contact again by now. then again, we may also still be in contact cos we all live in the same neighbourhood! liang's house is just 4 blocks away from mine and pinyi's 6! haha!
but yeah i still think it's being in the same class for 4 to 6 from straight that helped to keep the friendship strong and going ya? (:
really a blessing. (:
still wished we had gone to watch a midnight movie though! ):
