there's a few things i missed and a few good habits that i have picked up back at my aunty's house.

i definitely miss reading newspapers at my aunty house. and i mean real news. otherwise, i wouldn't have known about merapi's eruptions, downtown east's horrifying murder, mr lim's controversial words, qantas' or should i say, rolls-royce failure, china and japan's territorial disputes and how US tries to interfere unsuccessfully, and though i have not figured out what 'the tea party' refers to, i know at least that the general elections wasn't going too well for president obama the last time i read anything about it.

i feel so cultured seriously.

and needless to say, i will miss the comic strips as well.

in addition, i've spotted a few interesting columns in the newspapers, journalists with a sense of humour and fun writing styles. so i've cut them out for future references.

and ever since the idea of being an english teacher has stuck in my head, i've become like uber careful and double checking my typing now and then to check for grammatical errors since im especially known for careless mistakes by mathematics teachers and a red river on my essay scripts by my english teachers. what a laugh miss fah would probably have if she knows that im considering this as an option.

that said, i'll better go study now before im really left with no option, not even this one. but i'll be truthful about this. i don't think im gonna do well for tomorrow's paper.
