if only huh?

someone once said that life is like a game, be it like a game of poker, a game of chess, a game of monopoly, whatever. it is like a game because you have to take calculated risks in life, you have to enjoy life like how you would enjoy a game.

but you know what? i think the last thing life can be compared to for similarities is a game.

a life is NOTHING like a game.

you dont die and still say it's okay because i have 2 more lives.

survival in reality means more than collecting yellow coins or rings and eating funny looking fruits or potions.

you cant control yourself like how you would control your character in the game.

YOU CANT QUIT LIFE LIKE HOW YOU CAN QUIT A GAME JUST BECAUSE YOU GOT BORED OF IT.

restarting a game requires only a finger, restarting your life or turning over a new leaf needs not your hands nor legs. It's courage.

if only life is like a cassette player, i'll be able to rewind my life to overwrite the wrong parts and make sure i do it right this time.

but life just isn't like that.

p/s: pardon this crappy post from a person who has barely slept for one hour this morning.

p/s 2: and sometimes, i wish i can. that there's a switch to it..
