EMERGENCY exercise

first, we experienced TREMOR in our classes, walls shaking, tables shaking, chairs shaking, everyone shaking shaking, and we were so SCARED we had to hide under the tables for shelter.

yes, we were very SCARED.

and when ms lee announced saying that they tremor was over, we were so relieved.

not more than one minute later, she announced that there was a second tremor. and all of us had to become turtles and tortoises again by seeking shelter under the tables.

and prissy was still happily playing her PSP.
and if there were tremors, why doesnt miss woo have to hide under a table?

and i have to praised the photographers, yin mun and andrea from the ITMR club, they were so brave, they didnt hide under the tables and instead, went to every class to take photos. just in case, the school should collapse, we can have evidences showing that we are the FIRST school in pasir ris to have a taste of EARTHQUAKE.

now that's something remarkable and worth mentioning, isnt it?

NOT.

dont blame me, i cant help but being so sarcastic.

anyway, if u think the above things mentioned are drama.

u are wrong. way WRONG.

bcos when the second tremor was over, we heard an alarm that sounded like ice-cream man.

of cos, it's not ice-cream man, it's the fire alarm.

and the fire happened somewhere at the technical block. and the smoke was so thick, we couldnt see one another at all.

just kidding.

anyway, a few prefects, including me, headed to the OPS centre, which is at the volleyball court. and how lucky we were to be helping out.

bcos we had SHELTER while the rest of the student body had to stand under HOT SUN. (:

u see the difference? (:

anyway, there's something i have to say. if the teachers ever lose their jobs being teachers or to put it nicely, decided to change their career paths,

they can consider being actors and actresses at mediacorp.

bcos they really faked the whole thing so well and were very serious in treating this whole exercise.

policeman, ambulance, parents, casualties.

ohh, and there was the PRESS.

i dont even see any reporter around when i was at the parade square.

joke.

and the 'parents' (the parent volunteers) were so eager and HAPPY to see their children.

the three children otherwise, SULKED when being hugged by these 'parents'.

u see the difference?

but it was FUN today, partly cos i dont have to stand under the sun.

like the rest do. (:
