DENTIST DENTIST!

cold sweat was trickling down my back furiously.
and i wiped my sweaty palms on my skirt upon entering the container bus.

no kidding.

okay, maybe that was a bit too exaggerating. but hey. i was pretty nervous okay. since i dont know when was the last time i've been to a DENTAL APPOINTMENT.

greeted the dentist vv politely. err. guess i was hoping that by doing so, she would say something nice about my teeth. hahas.

when i was in primary school, i used to imagine that the dentist always wear the mouth mask so as to hide their SINISTER SMILE. and the drilling tools on the rack are the weapons they used to pluck out your teeth, be it good ones or bad ones, as many as they can.

such WILD imagination ehh?

was super nervous when i was lying down on that armchair thingy. and was praying very very hard that she wont say anything horrible about my teeth. in the end, after checking my teeth, she smiled and said,

"dont worry, you have very very GOOD oral hygiene. just concentrate more on your gums to prevent gum disease."

boy, i was damn relieved when i heard that. after all, i'm a GOOD GIRL who brushes my teeth twice a day, day and night, without fail. (:

ohh yes. i remembered another thing. when i was in primary school, i always believed,

BY HIDING YOUR PLUCKED-TOOTH UNDER THE PILLOW, THE TOOTH FAIRY WILL COME AND COLLECT THE TOOTH AT NIGHT. IN ADDITION, SHE WILL GIVE YOU A DOLLAR IN EXCHANGE.

so that was what i always do whenever i had a tooth plucked. i would hide my plucked-tooth under the pillow and pray hard that the tooth fairy would come at night before i go to sleep.

but alas, when i woke up the in the morning, it was always my tooth that was under the pillow and not a dollar.

heys, i was gullible and innocent then.

well, i still am now. (:
