our FINAL show.

our FINAL show} the NATIONAL DAY parade.
and it's all ENDED.
it's all over.
our jobs are DONE.
and there will be NO MORE rehearsals on saturdays.
the saturdays that we actually DREADED.
but come to think of it,
i DUN really dread them after all. (:

in fact, i'm gonna MISS those days.
and i'm sure everyone of us WILL.
not just me, EVERYONE.
i'll miss those days.
from the very FIRST of our boring trainings,
to the very LAST of our joyous NATIONAL DAY parade.
well, it was NOT that joyous after all.
cos some of us CRIED. (:

i'll remember my NEW FRIENDS.
EVERY single one of them.
apart from jolene and amanda.
there's celia from BTV,
regina from NVS,
and MANY MANY MORE.
the show might have ENDED.
but NOT our friendships.
i'll cherish these friendships.
and to do so, i've got their numbers.
i hope to KEEP IN TOUCH.
because i do BELIEVE it's a FATE,
that we met one another and became FRIENDS. (:

those days have now been
a part of my PRECIOUS MEMORIES.
and i shall SAFE KEEP them.
and make sure they are NEVER FORGOTTEN.
and that night,
the night of the NATIONAL DAY parade,
shall be one of the BEST nights that i've ever spent. (:

so if u ask me,
"aren't the trainings tough?"
"isn't it tiring to be standing under the hot sun?"
i'll answer,
"sure, the trainings are tough,
but only SOMETIMES."
"it is tiring standing under the hot sun,
but only SOMETIMES."
and i'll add on,
"but trust me."
"i've never regretted joining NDP."
"being a part of the national day parade
has been a great honour."
"and i'm proud to be,"
"a GIRL GUIDE." (:
